            Jon is the principal of the firm and has been an Attorney in Northern Virginia for his entire legal career. While Jon's legal practice is new he brings 15+ years of real-world experience to his practice of law.

            Jon graduated from Los Lunas High School in 1998 and immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as a Radio Repairer.   During his 5 years of Active Duty Service Jon was stationed in Camp Pendleton, California, Richmond, Virginia and MCB Quantico, Virginia. During his time at Quantico, Jon actively engaged in community service volunteering with the Young Marine program, and the Occoquan, Woodbridge, Lorton Volunteer Fire Department. 

            At the end of his active duty service obligation, Jon returned to his hometown of Virginia Beach where he attended Old Dominion University. During his time at Old Dominion, Jon served as a Student Senator, and Chairman of the External Affairs with Student Government Association, participated in Model United Nations, re-founded the Gamma Tau Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity, and pursued an Army Commission through the ROTC program. Jon graduated in 2008 with his Bachelors of Science in Political Science and Leadership receiving his commission in the Virginia Army National Guard the same day.  He was almost immediately deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, serving in Afghanistan from February to November of 2009.

            Upon his return from Afghanistan, Jon was accepted to West Virginia University College of Law which he attended from 2010 graduating in 2013 with his Juris Doctor.   During his time at the College of Law, Jon was a President of the Veterans Law Caucus, which assisted in the development and operation of the Veterans Assistance Project. This project was the first time that a law school and a Veterans Affairs facility teamed together to provide free civil legal services on a continuous basis to Veterans. Jon also participated with the Lugar Trial Advocacy Competition team at several national level Trial competitions.

            Jon's previous legal work experience includes serving as a Legal Graduate Assistant with WVU Student Legal Services and as a Extern with the Veterans Legal Project with Legal Aid West Virginia.  In these positions, Jon has been able to build an extensive understanding of Government Benefits, Civil Litigation, and Family and Criminal Law.
